Suiseki are commonly displayed on a flat board (ji-ita). However, this stone cannot be appreciated that way, and looks much better if raised up on a display stand (shoku).

This is our preferred display. The simplified form of this shoku, with the large empty space below, allows us to focus on the suiseki and gives it a delicate appearance.
